George Whitaker

George is the son of Ian & Alison and the nephew of the famous John & Michael Whitaker. The brother to William and James who aswell compete at top level showjumping.

After Starting to ride at the age of 3, George worked up the ranks competing on ponies, winning the prestigious Leading Pony Rider Of the Year at Horse Of The Year Show to then go on and win individual and team gold medal at the European Championships. Competing as a Young rider, George won team bronze at the European Championships on Tubana who he also was selected to jump numerous senior nation cups with as well as winning his first 3* Grand Prix in Maubeuge, France.

In 2015 George was selected to be part of the Rolex Young Riders Academy where only 6 people worldwide were chosen. Through this he went on to train with Belgium based Olympic rider Jos Lansink.He then went on to ride in America, then back to Europe, before heading home to England to set up Dallamires Stables.

In only the first year of setting up Dallamires Stables, George claimed the title in the 3* Grand Prix in South Korea aswell as winning the 6yr old final at the British Championships to qualify for the world breeding championships in Lanken.
